Gaby Fleming

Yoga Teacher

Yoga For The Weekends

Yoga is an appealing way to improve physical strength and flexibility but Gaby became really interested in yoga from attending classes given by her teacher Colin Dunsmuir. Subsequently she was invited to study with him on a four-year qualification accredited by both the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

The approach that Gaby takes when she teaches is framed by yoga’s holistic nature; choosing the right tools to develop each student as an individual to reach their own unique potential, whether on a one-to-one basis or within a supportive group environment. Gaby’s mission is to respectfully pass on the special techniques and tradition she and her colleagues have inherited, and continue to study.

Gaby’s experience beyond yoga includes a successful career in the arts: dedicated to museums and collections, doing digital projects and distributing public and Lottery funds to arts organisations in England.

In her free time she enjoys exploring her creativity, strength and courage through aerial circus arts, particularly static trapeze. Gaby’s debut as an aerial performer was with a disabled-led theatre company in an outdoors spectacular, which was part of London 2012 Festival. She is currently in rehearsals for another show in December.
