Amanda Denton : Yoga Beat (Dynamic)
Amanda Denton has studied a wide range of yoga styles. Variety is the spice of life! She teaches with great enthusiasm, body awareness and compassion for the practitioner. Amanda grew up in Dorset and was from childhood fascinated by nature, dance and performance. She trained in contemporary dance at the Laban Centre (BA Hons), but after a riding accident turned her attention to the healing arts, qualifying in massage and aromatherapy. In the late 1990s, she discovered yoga and through the exploration of many styles (including Iyengar, Kundalini, Ashtanga and Sivananda), she travelled to India and trained as a Sivananda teacher (Yogi Siromani). Now living and practising in London, her yoga journey continues.
SASKIA PRICE
Saskia Price : Vinyasa Yoga
Saskia has been practising yoga and meditation for over 13 years.  She was introduced to Buddhism as a child by her grandmother in Scotland, but it wasn’t until her late teens that Saskia discovered yoga asana whilst living in New York City working as a fashion model.   Saskia has enjoyed the privilege of studying with internationally acclaimed teachers including Edward Clarke, Kathy Cooper, John Scott and Simon Borg Oliver.  Saskia has studied and draws influence from a wide range of yoga styles including: the emphasis on breath and creative movement of vinyasa flow, the sequencing structures of Ashtanga, the heart and classical spirit of Dharma Mittra and the philosophy and playfulness of Jivamukti.

James Chapman: Hatha Yoga
James came to Yoga after years suffering with a chronic back condition whilst working in the city as a senior IT analyst for a major law firm and so has experienced first hand how yoga can help you become pain free and healthy.
James has trained in many styles of Yoga and has an intelligent and considered approach, with the ability to deconstruct classical postures and adapt them to the needs of individuals.  His classes and one to one sessions focus on meditation and breath work for a clear and healthy mind, strengthening exercises and classical asana to create good physical function, and long held supported postures for a deeply restorative effect.
James has over 12 years experience as a yoga teacher specialising in stress, addiction and mental health conditions and teaches yoga for mental health for the NHS.  He is available for one to one sessions at Grace which are particularly suitable for those interested in the therapeutic benefits of yoga.

James is also a myofascial release and sports massage specialist available for treatments at Grace Medical.
