Thursday 19th March Supper 18:30 Concert St Peter’s Eaton Square, W1 – 19:30 – 21:30
They say that the Devil has all the best tunes, and it is hard to disagree on hearing this enthralling programme from early music vocal ensemble Stile Antico. ‘Sacred or Profane?’ traces the blurred boundary between sacred and secular music in the Renaissance. Risqué and racy chansons are transformed into devout masses, ribald folksong to prayerful polyphony and sacred texts to erotic madrigals! Stile Antico’s appearance is supported by the Stile Antico Foundation.
Ticket price £30 includes light supper and concert ticket
